NATIONAL GOLD STAR YOUTH OUTDOORS

National Gold Star Youth Outdoors honors the legacy of our nation's fallen heroes by providing healing outdoor experiences, mentorship, and community for their children, while empowering veterans to serve as volunteers and mentors. Allowing our veterans to continue their bond of service and witnessing this lasting impact of honoring those they served beside. 

Our vision outlines our goals for the next 2, 5, and 15 years:

• Two-Year Goal: Establish strong partnerships with organizations, sponsors, and donors to facilitate diverse outdoor experiences for children, including fishing, hunting, backpacking, skiing, and surfing. Our aim is to help families create lifelong memories through these shared adventures.
• Five-Year Goal: Expand our reach by forming chapters across the country, enabling us to serve a greater number of families and veterans.
• Fifteen-Year Goal: Acquire land with lodging facilities to host outings for families, creating a dedicated space for connection, healing, and adventure.

National Gold Star Youth Outdoors proudly celebrates Sagen Maddalena, an inspiration both on and off the range.

As a 2024 Olympic silver medalist in Women’s 50m Rifle Three Positions, Sagen embodies dedication and excellence. Beyond her achievements, she’s part of our National Gold Star Youth Outdoors family, mentoring and supporting the children of fallen heroes through outdoor adventures.

We’re honored to have her in our community, inspiring the next generation.
